I found this rather long questionnaire over at ZiB's today, and since she made it “free for all” I decided to give it a shot. Since it's that horribly long, I'll make it free for all as well, so if anyone feels up to tackling the 63 question him- or herself as well, go along, but I won't force you
Questionnaire follows after the break.
1. The phone rings. Who do you want it to be?
demod, ZiB or my mom. Otherwise I'm not that keen on talking on the phone.
2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
Of course, there's my money (or my cart-chip) in it, and I want that back
3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
Mostly a listener I guess. I'm rather shy and need time to warm up to people. Once I do, I tend to talk as well though
4. Do you take compliments well?
Depends on the type of compliments. I'm quite fed up with stuff like “You must be so couragious to be a woman in computing!”.
5. Do you play Sudoku?
Occasionally, when there's nothing else to do, or when I randomly come across one (e.g. in demod's writing pad).
6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
I'd manage to get along for some days I guess. I used to read those survival books in my youth, so I think I'd be able to remember some stuff in case of an emergency, but I prefer not to test out this claim
7. Do you like to ride?
I've only ever been on the back of a pony when I still was a kindergardener, so I honestly have no bloody idea. Horses aren't my thing anyway though.
8. Did you ever go camping as a kid?
Every summer for six weeks, from my second to my twentieth summer, and after that at least for 10 days until my twentyfifth summer. Caravan for my parents, tent for me
9. What was your favorite game as a kid?
“Das verrückte Labyrinth” and “Elixir” when it comes to board games. I also loved to play LEGO, or fight imaginary enemies with my trusty sword and my stuffed animals and ZiB on my side
10. If a good looking person was courting you, but you knew that he/she was married – would you play along?
A world of no.
11. Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you?
Hm… as long as he didn't try to evangelize, I think I could. Would depend on the degree of religiousness though. Full blood believer would become an issue rather fast.
12. Do any songs make you cry?
None that I can think of right now.
13. Are you continuing your education?
I've never done anything else. And what other choice to I have as a computer geek, everything in that field just changes too damn much to stop learning even for the shortest time.
14. Do you know how to shoot a gun?
I know how to shoot an air rifle. But that's about it.
15. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you'd grab?
demod. If there was still time, my notebook.

Every day. Either fantasy or technical literature.

The future I think. Keeps worrying me
18. What is your favorite children's book?
“Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer” together with it's sequel “Jim Knopf und die Wilde 13” by Michael Ende. My mom read them on tape for me/with me when I was three or four. I still have those tapes and love to listen to them from time to time. Although it's very weird to hear a younger version of me having issues with the “ch” of the german language

178cm
21. Where is your dream house located?

E
43. Do you like your middle name?
I used to hate it, but now I'm ok with it. “Like” would be too much though

Usually about 7 or 8. The problem lies within the interval, not the amount.
45. Do you like care bears?
I have taste, thanks.
46. What do you buy at the movies?
